It's a Google Voice number. That means it records your voice mail, transcribes it to text and sends it to our email inbox! You can also text that number and we get an alert in our email inbox. Very cool techie stuff, eh?
We avoid using actual voice calls on a telephone because we are hearing impaired. The above methods work to perfection.
